Job Title: Transport Manager

Reports to: Operations Director

Overview:

The position is one of the key members of the Operations Team and is responsible for the successful operation of the Europe programme.  The role is based in both London and Holland.

Key Tasks include:

• Maintain all aspects of managing our road crew specifically focusing on coach drivers. This includes recruitment, training, scheduling and general oversight ensuring road crew meet Topdeck standards.
• Maintain all aspects of Topdeck’s needs in relation to coach allocation. You will need to liaise closely with our coach suppliers throughout Europe.
• You must be fully aware of all areas of European regulations that govern driving hours, working conditions and traffic rules, both across Europe and in specific countries. You must ensure that all crew are familiar with these rules and regulations and inform them of any changes as necessary.
• Financial work ensuring crew adhere to budgets specifically in the areas of fuel sourcing and coach parking. Also working with coach suppliers regarding the invoicing of tolls.
• Have input into the production of the European brochure. This will include new and amended itineraries, using your experience in Europe to ensure any changes to tours and any new tours are operationally viable and conform to European driving regulations.
• The position requires availability to travel at short notice and to be on call in case of an emergency.

Knowledge and Experience

• Must have a full European manual coach license
• Experience as a coach driver or tour operator within Europe
